Disney’s Epic Mickey 2 has been confirmed as a Wii U launch title by its developers and publisher, adding it to the growing list of games that will be available upon the launch of the Wii U this November. It will be available on November 18 in the US and on November 30 in the UK.
The announcement was set alongside the release of a new trailer for the game, which is as epic as you would expect.
Developed by Warren Spector’s Junction Point studio, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will allow two separate players to take on the roles of both Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Set after the events of the original game, Mickey must return to the Wasteland once again and bring life and color back into the universe after the world is damaged once again by the Mad Doctor.
Closely resembling the gameplay of the first game, Epic Mickey 2 will see major improvements in its camera controls and allow two players to enjoy the game simultaneously.
Epic Mickey 2 will also be released on the PC, Mac OSX, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 18.
