Michael Chu, Overwatch‘s lead writer announced over on the Blizzard forums that fans can expect more story-related content this year.
“We have a lot in the works, with Orisa and her story being the first release of the year. One of our goals for 2017 is to try to have more frequent story-related updates and content, so we’re very busy with that.”
Chu went on to tease, “A little something else is coming just around the corner, so look out for it!”
Although we haven’t had that much in-game story content to go by (besides basically the intro) let’s hope Blizzard can implement it neatly so we don’t have t continuously rely on launch videos and comics to learn about the lore.
