Just a few months ago, DICE announced an "Only in Battlefield 3" video competition. After more than 1,200 fan entries, the studio has finally picked the three winners and you can watch their videos below.
In no particular order, the winners (and their video descriptions) are:
Jackfrags – Only in Battlefield 3
Description: The modest title “JackFrags” hides one of the most professionally edited videos we have ever received from a fan. Everything from tempo to scene selection, transitions, and use of audio is spot on. This is as close to a DICE produced in-game trailer you can get without actually working at DICE.
Frenchswat – Crazy Copter
Description: Combine crazy flying skills with a daredevil attitude and a panache for flying your helicopter indoors and what do you get? You get “Crazy Copter” from magic heli pilot Frenchswat!
MongolFPS – Operation Teamplay
Description: There is too much awesome team work in this video to make it justice in text form. Two helicopter buddies jump in and out of the chopper at need, knowing their friend will safely pick them up afterwards. Just another day in Battlefield 3 for true team players.

All three participants mentioned above won DICE's grand prize, which is a trip to Sweden to meet the Battlefield makers. So a hearty congrats are in order and don't forget to bring your coats, gents!
I gather, DICE would have gotten more than 1,200 entries if a way to actually record in-game footage was available in the game, no?
