Dishonored’s TV Spot Shows Corvo, But Not an Ounce of Gameplay

September 27, 2012 by Alex Co

Bethesda has released Dishonored’s 30-second TV commercial, but don’t expect any new gameplay — if at all.

Bethesda has released Dishonored's TV commercial and as is the usual when it comes to TV spots, it doesn't show a lot of gameplay — wait, let me correct that, it doesn't show one lick of gameplay.

What it does show is the game's protagonist, Corvo, looking awesome in a short amount of time. It also showcases a few of Corvo's powers he'll be able to use in the game, but the entire footage is in CGI.

Again, the entire bit doesn't show one iota of gameplay but what's there is an accurate representation of the game…minus the mind-blowing CGI, of course.

Can Arkane Studios have a hit on their hands with Dishonored? Judging from the reaction to the game so far (and the blurbs included in the spot), they might just have the sleeper hit of the year.

Dishonored is set for an October 9 release for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
