After weeks of teasing, Treyarch has finally released the full official trailer of its Zombies mode campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
The latest, full-length video confirms that players will in fact be on the move from location to location throughout the Zombies campaign, quelling one outbreak of zombies after the other aboard a fully armored bus. If that reminds you of anything, that’s because George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead featured a similar device.
Screenshots released earlier yesterday reveal a bit of the bus featured in the trailer. [link]
In the video you see above, player-controlled characters arrive by bus to an area, moving inside and around a diner to secure it before heading off to a new location to deal with even more of the walking dead.
Treyarch explains that the zombies mode will provide support for up to 8 players in multiplayer. Like Black Ops’ predecessors developed at the studio, zombies have become a staple of Treyarch’s take on the Call of Duty franchise, first established by Infinity Ward.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be out on November 12 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
