After various reports of desynchronization problems with the Nintendo Switch controllers, many prospective buyers held out in hope that the day-one patch would resolve these issues. But alas, the desynchronization persists.
Although various online reports say that the day-one patch has shrunk the problem, Digital Foundry had found that the patch ran a mass of technical tests with the console and found that the problems were still unresolved.
If social media is any indication, then Digital Foundry is not the only one to have seen no difference in the problems following the patch. Nintendo has apparently been contacted about the issue, but have refrained from commenting for now.
It should be noted that many of the games released on the Switch play perfectly. This issue isn’t necessarily a deal-breaker, but it could prove highly difficult to solve and therefore give massive headaches to Nintendo and players alike.
In other news, Zelda: Breath of The Wild still looks amazing.
The Nintendo Switch launches on tomorrow, March 3, 2017
