Shadow of War Might Include Microtransactions

March 2, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

According to details provided on its Steam page.

There is very little known about the Middle-Earth sequel – Shadow of War, aside from the release date being in August. But some insight about what the game will entail can be provided via the its Steam page.

The latest revelation gathered from the steam page, is that Shadow of War will have “in-app-purchases” aka microtransactions.

The Steam page doesn’t elaborate on what it means by this, but at this present moment in time, we assume that the “war chest” items included in the special edition will be the content of the microtransactions.

We have no idea what these “war chests” are. But we do know that different tiers of them are available depending on which special edition you buy.

Fans wanting to know specifics about these microtransactions will unfortunately have to wait closer to the launch.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be available on August 22nd for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Project Scorpio.
