With a little over a week to go until PAX East, the official dates for PAX Australia 2017 have been revealed. Unlike last year’s event which was pushed completely into November, this year’s annual celebration of gaming will reach Melbourne’s shores on October 27 and run through till October 29.
Co-founder of PAX and Penny Arcade Jerry Holkins is excited for the event, which marks its fifth consecutive year to be held in Australia:
“Australia’s gaming community has given PAX such an incredible home here…This year will see the fifth PAX Aus erupt in Melbourne, and there’s every indication it will be the best one yet.”
PAX Australia will once again take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Tickets are priced at $65 AUD per head with a $5 discount for early bird purchases, and will go on sale from March 14, 2017. Both national and international three day passes will soon be available for $165 a pop, a sweet saving of $30 for embracing the spirit of gaming to the fullest.
