Minecraft is getting a Halloween-themed update which is set to offer a whole bunch of spooky content for players of the game. Players can expect to see the addition of new mobs including the Wither, which is a kind of witch-like thing that casts damaging spells at players.
The patch, which is officially listed as version 1.4, will also see the addition of equipment on zombies and skeletons, so players will be able to loot them for drops after killing them. Zombies will even attack NPC townsfolk, who will then become zombies themselves so don’t be too shocked if you find yourself facing down a horde of undead townspeople.
You’ll want to protect your villagers from now on, as they’ll pack a variety of new trading options to enrich your experience in survival mode.
Finally, alchemists will be able to craft a host of new potions including night vision potions, a potion of invisibility, and more.
Those are just a few of the things Mojang has planned for the new update, which is set for release in October. Stay tuned!
