4J Studios, the developers of Minecraft for the Xbox Live Arcade have released a new video showcasing the features they’re implementing into the next update for the XBLA console port, which is slated for release sometime this month.
In addition to numerous bug fixes, update 1.8.2 will offer a variety of new food items including a variety of fruits, bread, raw and cooked meat. Additionally, players will be able to sprint once the update goes live, which it’s expected to in a couple of weeks after the developers are done tweaking it and sending it in to Microsoft for certification.
The developers have put up a video showcasing some of the new things they plan to implement in the update. You can watch as the player butchers his flock of chickens, cows, and pigs for meat.
In addition to new content, players will be able to play the game in Creative Mode to mess with their world as they see fit.
