Forza Horizon Will Get Season Pass Option for Monthly DLCs

September 18, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Players who want to download monthly DLCs will have the option to purchase a Season Pass.

Forza Horizon

The developers of Forza Horizon, Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games, have confirmed that the upcoming racing game will be issued with monthly updates and a full fledged expansion pack on December 18—two months after the game’s release on October 23.

The game’s downloadable content model follows that of its predecessor Forza Motorsport 4, which saw regular DLC updates. However, this time around players will be able to purchase a Season Pass to save money and receive the DLCs as they become available. The downloadable content will come in the form of car packs, and will also be available individually for players without the Season Pass.

Forza Horizon is being developed as a collaborative title between Turn 10 and Playground Games.

Forza Horizon is exclusive to the Xbox 360 and will be available worldwide on October 23.
