Team Ninja to Announce New Game at Tokyo Game Show

September 18, 2012 by Alex Co

Dead or Alive developer Team Ninja is reportedly set to announce a new game at TGS.

Team Ninja, the studio most known for developing Dead or Alive and the Ninja Gaiden series, is set to unveil a new title at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.

This news was revealed by the studio themselves over their official Twitter feed. Aside from them hinting that it will come to unspecified home consoles, details are quite scarce at the moment.

Could this be for a new franchise? Perhaps a new entry in the Other M Metroid series? Hopefully, it's one of those and not a spin-off of Dead or Alive, no? Nothing against the franchise, but with Dead or Alive 5 coming out later this month, I don't think we need another jiggly game so soon.

This year's Tokyo Game Show is scheduled to start on September 20 and will run through until September 23. Sony and a few other companies are expected to hold press conferences and videogame announcements at the show.

We will, of course, keep you posted on everything TGS once the event starts.
