THQ has released a new trailer for WWE '13 and it's not your usual gameplay video. This one focuses on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson — possibly the most famous wrestler in WWE history.
I admit, I might be a bit biased here since I remember loving the promos The Rock used to do on Raw and Smackdown. This was the time used to watch wrestling regularly and enjoyed it, too.
In the trailer, we get to see some of The Rock's most famous match-ups in history. Not only that, but we get to see his signature moves such as the Rockbottom and People's Elbow…as if it was yesterday.
The Rock will be playable in WWE '13's "WWE Attitude" era mode. So, if you want to re-live The Rock going up against Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mankind, and Ken Shamrock, you can. Additionally, there are over 20 classic WWE full-motion videos available, too. Including the time when The Rock was a "jabroni" and was working for The Corporation.
Not to knock on WWE fans now, but professional wrestling back then was way more fun to watch than the drivel we have now. Of course, this is just an old fart's opinion.
Aside from the most electrifying man in sports enterainment, pre-ordering the game will also net you the "baddest man on the planet" as a bonus; which is none other than Mike Tyson.
WWE '13 is scheduled for an October 30 release date for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
