Back in July, pictures and details cropped up on an alleged redesign of the PS3 slim. While Gamescom has come and gone, no new details has been announced.
That could have been the end of it. If this ad for thing didn't crop up on a Polish store (via Polygamia.pl). According to the ad, the alleged 12GB SSD PS3 will be available at retail for 199 euros and will be joined by the 500GB PS3 Slim which is priced at 299 euros.
Here's a picture of the ad.
It's speculated that this redesign will be announced by Sony at this week's Tokyo Game Show. In saying that, I fully expect Microsoft and Sony to cut the prices of their current-gen consoles to combat the Wii U's impending release.
Again, this has not been confirmed by Sony just yet, so keep that in mind before asking for it at your local retailer.
Would this convince you to get a new PS3? Also of note, would this convince you to get a PS3 instead of a Wii U?
