Nintendo Wii U Launch Titles Revealed, Includes Core and 3rd Party Games

The launch lineup for Nintendo’s upcoming Wii U console has been revealed.

The Wii U’s launch is set, and with the announcement of the release date, pricing, and bundling plans for Nintendo’s new console. You can read details of that here. Additionally, we now know the full list of games that will be out within the launch period between November 18 and the end of March 2013.

The launch titles include a good number of core games like New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, Lego City Undercover, and Zombi U, as well as ports of preexisting games like Batman: Arkham City, Darksiders 2, and Mass Effect 3.

It should noted that for whatever reason, the highly anticipated Pikmin 3 will not be among the Wii U’s launch titles, and will instead be released in 2013 during the release window. You’ll have to wait for a few months to get some real-time strategy action on the Wii U.

Platinum Games’ Project-P100, now properly named The Wonderful 101, will be available on the Nintendo eShop along with a host of other titles upon the console’s release.
