Darksiders 2 Wii U Version to Add Five Hours of Content, Will Be a Wii U Launch Game

THQ has announced Darksiders 2's contents and release date for the Wii U. 

According to the publisher, Darksiders 2 for the Wii U will include bonus content not included in the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Argul's Tomb — the first DLC for the game, will be included as well as all pre-order bonuses from the other editions. This will add (according to THQ), five hours of playable content to the game.

Of course, the Wii U's GamePad will play a big role in Darksiders 2's Wii U version. It can be used as a display to show maps and objectives, as well as giving quick access to Death's inventory. In addition to the screen, the Wii U's gyro functionality will also be implemented to allow players to avoid enemy attacks, interact with objects in the world, steer Death during swimming and riding sequences.

Darksiders 2 for the Wii U is scheduled to be out day-and-date as the Wii U console itself, which is on November 18.
