At Nintendo's US presser for the Wii U. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime announced that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Wii U.
It will be available the same day as its Nintendo 3DS counterpart. Not only that, but Wii U version will let you play alongside the 3DS via a local wireless connection. For people who own both versions, they can interchange the save data on both so they can play Monster Hunter 3 on their WIi U, go out, and continue playing it on their 3DS without losing any of their saved game progress.

Monster Hunter 3 for the Wii U and 3DS is expect to be on March, 2013.
