MachineGames is a Swedish video game developer that was founded in 2009. Since its formation, the development team has released two titles, Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, a standalone DLC. Both titles went on to receive plenty of praise for a number of aspects of the video game release, but now fans of the titles are eagerly waiting for what the development team is doing next.
Bethesda Softworks is the publisher of both titles mentioned above and it seems that Pete Hines, a marketing executive for Bethesda has played their next working title and has nothing but positive things to say. The news comes from Kinda Funny Gamescast in which Pete Hines was a special guest of.
During the episode, Pete Hines revealed that the has played the next title coming from MachineGames and that the video game is “f-ing bananas”. Furthermore, Pete Hines stated that its a title that Bethesda cannot wait to show off in the future.
Unfortunately, there’s not much information as to what the video game title actually is. However, there has been speculation that MachineGames is working on a follow-up title for Wolfenstein, though it’s been unconfirmed. In the past, there have been voice actors who have leaked out a sequel is in the works along with a tease for Wolfenstein: The New Colossus during E3 2016.
We’ll likely know what this mysterious new title MachineGames is working on during E3 of this year which was revealed to be open to the public for the first time ever.
