Konami Reveals Tokyo Game Show Lineup

September 12, 2012 by Alex Co

Read up on what Konami’s bringing to Japan’s biggest gaming convention later this month.

The Tokyo Game Show (TGS), Japan's biggest gaming convention, is about a week away and publishers are now revealing the games people can expect from the show.

This time, it's Konami's turn to show their hand, as the publisher has revealed their TGS lineup for the year. While this is their complete list, it's not uncommon for a game or two to be left out due to them being surprises, being shown behind closed doors and other factors — or in other words, don't be surprised if a game gets shown off that's not on the list.

Game Software

  • Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (PS3)
  • Silent Hill: Book of Memories (PSV)
  • Silent Hill: Downpour (PS3)
  • Zone of the Enders: HD Edition (PS3, 360)

Social Games

  • Metal Gear Solid: Social Ops (GREE)
  • Mixi Park (Mixi)
  • Star Wars Collection (GREE)
  • Crows X Worst: Strongest Legend (GREE)
  • Sengoku Collection (Mobage)
  • Sokku Museum (Mixi)
  • Dragon Collection (GREE)
  • Dream Stallion (Mobage)
  • Powerful Pro Baseball (GREE, Mobage)
  • Secretary Collection (GREE)
  • Pro Baseball Dream Nine (GREE, Mobage, Mixi, Tsutaya.com Kiwi)
  • Yuru Veggie Farm (Mixi)
  • World Soccer Collection (GREE, Mobage)

Smart Phones and Tablets

  • Jubeat Plus (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad)
  • Reflec Beat Plus (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad)

Amusement Games

  • Jubeat Saucer
  • Monster Retsuden Oreca Battle

In addition to the lineup, Konami has also opened its web portal for the event. Kojiima Productions, a subsidiary of Konami and Hideo Kojima's studio, has their own website up and running, too.

If you've read the list, it seems Konami is making a big push on social games at the event. Hopefully, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes' exclusion from the list doesn't mean it won't show up at the event at all, no? I'd be happy with any info Kojima gives us at this point.
