Konami has revealed that Raiden-headlined game — Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance — has been cancelled for the Xbox 360 in Japan.
The publisher posted it on their official Japanese site and states (via Google translate):

Of course, this isn't really surprising since the Xbox brand has yet to gain significant traction in the Land of the Rising Sun. So, there you have it. If you're in Japan and you want to play Metal Gear Rising, best you have a PS3 to play it on.
