Gamer Beats Resident Evil 7 Using Only A Knife

February 3, 2017 by Dennis Patrick

It took the streamer just over three hours to complete the game.

We’ve reported in the past of speedrunners completing Resident Evil 7. Each time someone comes in that shatters the previous record time, another gamer is working hard at making another grand feat. While this Twitch streamer didn’t come close to beating the video game in record time, the gamer did manage to complete it by only using the knife weapon.

There are bound to be several gamers out there still working at reaching the end of Resident Evil 7 since its release last month. However, speedrunners are quickly finding glitches and loopholes that will give them the fastest time possible at completing the video game. One gamer that goes by the name TheWykydtron might not have completed the video game with the fastest time, but the gamer went through each battle by only using a knife which was certainly a tough task in itself.

It took TheWykydtron just over three hours to complete the video game which is still surprising as some boss fights took careful planning to defeat. There’s bound to be even crazier gameplay set to come out in the future for Resident Evil 7 as the game is less than a month old. For now, take a look at the gameplay session uploaded by the Twitch streamer above. Take note, that because this is the entire game, you will be spoiled if you have yet to play through the narrative completely.

Resident Evil 7 is available for purchase today for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
