NBA 2K13's official trailer has just been released by 2K and it shows what you're expecting from a basketball videogame trailer. We get to see the NBA's marquee players such as Kobe, Dirk, Durant and of course, Lebron James strutting their stuff.
If you're a basketball videogame fan, chances are every NBA 2K release is an important event and rightfully so. I doubt there's a game that can even come close to it now.
While casual sports fans might not see the differences between yearly updates, basketball purists will see the newly-added juke moves, post moves and various nuances that further adds realism to each version.
While I don't foresee any big jump when it comes to visuals or gameplay until next-gen rolls around, I'm still hoping that developers somehow find a way to implement when a player "chokes" on crunch time. Yeah, a player's clutch rating will be affected by it, but that would certainly mix up the dynamics of a game, no?
NBA 2K13 is set for release this coming October for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
