Finally, Bethesda will officially be adding support to the PS4 Pro next week. Fallout 4’s Update 1.9 will be providing enhanced lighting and graphic features, including:
- Native 1440p resolution
- Enhanced draw distance for trees, grass, objects and NPCs
- Enhanced Godray effects
Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing 4k support.
PC players, on the other hand, will be getting a tasty texture pack next week too: “Consider this free download a love letter to our amazing PC fans that have supported us,” Bethesda said in a post on its blog, “not just with Fallout 4, but across multiple decades and games.”
You can check out the specs needed to run the high-resolution texture pack for yourself below. Fallout 4 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
