BioWare has announced the latest multiplayer event for Mass Effect 3 and it's going to be called "Operation Vigilance."
So, how many baddies do you need to kill this time over the weekend to qualify? Fortunately, it's not going to be the same old kill enemy X 30,000 times to get a Victory Pack. Unfortunately for you, it seems to be a little bit harder than that this time around…at least the squad goal is.
The Allied Goal is easy enough, all the ME3 multiplayer users need to do is to complete 250,000 escort missions on any difficulty over the weekend. However, to complete the Squad Goal, you will need to "Complete up to and including wave 10 on any difficulty without using a consumable (medi-gel, ammo, Ops pack or Cobra missile launcher)."
Mind you, doing that on the Bronze difficulty level should be easy enough, the question is, will your entire squad comply? What if they're not familiar with the challenge and just use their items haphazardly, right?
As always, meeting the Squad Goal success will net individual players a Commendation pack, while meeting the Allied Goal will reward all players with a Victory Pack.
Remember to turn the player feedback on to be able to participate in the event, alright? So, how's Mass Effect 3's multiplayer userbase? Is the game still thriving or has multiplayer fans moved on to other shooters?
