Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Update & DLC Available This February

January 23, 2017 by Dennis Patrick

New costumes, attacks, level caps, and more!

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2  launched back in October of 2016 and now publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed that a new update and paid DLC will be available for gamers this February for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Developed by Dimps, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a fighting role-playing video game that takes place two years after the events of Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Once again, players will be going throughout time and correcting history after it was changed, which goes over various moments throughout the Dragon Ball Z anime.

As mentioned the video game publisher, Bandai Namco Entertainment had revealed that there will be a new free update and a paid DLC, both of which will be releasing in February. For the free update, players can expect new costumes, accessories, attacks, new level cap, new tournament rules, and more.

The upcoming DLC pack involves around God of Destruction Champa. Gamers who already own a season pass will get the DLC though for gamers without a season pass can still pick up the DLC separately.

“The history has been altered and the God of Destruction Champa approaches Conton City! With this second paid DLC Pack, available through Season Pass and purchasable individually, players will experience a brand-new scenario quest and will face the 6th universe warriors. For this occasion, two additional characters will join the brawl: Champa and Vados. On top of that, players will also enjoy a new stage, new attacks, new costumes, new vehicle and many more new contents!”

While the DLC is coming to the already released platforms, it has been noted that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will also launch on the Nintendo Switch, but it’s unconfirmed if the video game title will come with the already released DLC.
