Ubisoft has put together a new website called Assassin's Creed Initiates. The purpose of the website is to get gamers up to speed with the story thus far in preparation for the release of Assassin's Creed 3. It's especially useful if you haven't played all the games, or simply need a refresher course on Desmond's whereabouts.
The Initiates website contains all the information about Assassin's Creed 3 released thus far, as well as an interactive application called The Desmond Files, which acts as a timeline for Desmond's whereabouts in the Assassin's Creed universe. The app will continue to be updated with new information in the days and weeks ahead.
Additionally, the website contains a forum where fans of the series can talk about the Assassin's Creed series and share their experiences, creations, and theories about the game.
