Clearly, EA is feeling quite confident after the events of it’s EA Play Event last year, that the company announced on Thursday that it was once again going to skip E3 and hold its own event this summer. Last year the company announced a couple new original titles and inititatives, so it might be a good idea to pay attention this year again.
In addition to confirming EA Play for a third straight year, the company announced where it will be holding the event this year. Expect to see the company on form across town at the Hollywood Palladium. The 2017 EA Play will be taking place from June 10 to June 12.
What is also good news for journalists and gaming channels is that there won’t be any other companies competing for media attention, so one can pay more attention to specific titles inside the company. The massive gaming conference will be kicking off one day after EA Play ends on June 13 and will run through June 15.
