God of War: Ascension PAX Panel to Give Attendees Beta Access to Multiplayer

Are you attending PAX this coming weekend? If so, are you a God of War fan? If the answer to both questions are a resounding "yes," then you might want to attend Sony Santa Monica's first-ever God of War panel.

The God of War: Ascension panel will consist of Game Director Todd Papy, Lead Designer Mark Simon, Principal Character Artist Patrick Murphy and award-winning writer behind the series, Marianne Krawczyk. The group will talk abou the origins of the game and even provide a never-before-seen look at the "evolution" of Kratos.

The Sony Santa Monica team will also discuss the secrets and creation process behind not just Ascension, but the entire God of War franchise. In addition to that, a new trailer will also be unleashed that will reveal a "major" character in God of War: Ascension that Kratos will encounter as he seeks to break his oath to Olympus that has bound him to the then God of War, Ares.

If that still wasn't enough, Sony Santa Monica will also talk about the origins of adding multiplayer to God of War for the first time which they deem as their "Titan." Speaking of multiplayer, attendees are in for a treat as Sony Santa Monica has this little blurb they want you to know:

The God of War panel will take place this Friday, August 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Unicorn Theater (located in the Convention Center). For people who can't attend, the entire panel will be livestreamed on Twitch.tv starting at 5:00 p.m.
