This is What The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Switch Cartridge Looks Like

January 15, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

Check out the first images of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Cartridges

For a while now we have known that Nintendo will be sticking to their classic cartridge style as the format for their games. Now with the presentation over, here is an up close look at what these cartridges will look like.

As you can see, the cartridges are around a similar size to the 3DS’s cartridges, which makes me wonder how many games will end up getting lost due to their small size?

Previously, Nintendo has confirmed that the internal memory of Nintendo Switch in its basic edition (currently there is no model with superior storage capacity) will be 32GB, and a portion will be reserved for system information – however recently Nintendo has stated that if you wish to upgrade your storage you will be able to purchase a 2TB SD card.
