Resident Evil 7 is coming out later this month and you’ve likely already played the demos to see if you’re interested in picking up a copy of the game. However, if you’re still not set on making a pre-order of the title, Capcom has just announced brand new bonuses. This comes from a posting by a Capcom employee on Capcom Unity.
For the most part, the newly announced pre-order bonuses for Resident Evil 7 revolve around the cinematic films. Though, oddly enough, these are directed towards the already released older films, not the upcoming Resident Evil 6: The Final Chapter.
Capcom has broken down the pre-order bonuses into categories which cover where and how gamers pre-order the title along with what console.
For gamers who pre-order a physical copy of Resident Evil 7 through GameStop on PS4 or Xbox One, you’ll receive a redemption code printed on your receipt. This code will unlock a digital film copy of Resident Evil: Retribution. PlayStation 4 gamers will receive a copy through VUDU while Xbox One gamers will receive the copy through the Xbox Store.
Xbox One gamers who use a digital pre-order will receive a redemption code through the Xbox Live message center to download the Resident Evil: Retribution movie while the PlayStation Network digital pre-orders will receive a 40% off code for the Resident Evil Collection. This will grant users a discount for Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction, Resident Evil: Afterlife, and Resident Evil: Retribution films.
Gamers can pick up Resident Evil 7 when it releases later this month on January 24, 2017, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
