Assassin’s Creed 3 Partners with Rock the Vote

Ubisoft has partnered with Rock the Vote to bring more young voters into the political fold. The Assassin's Creed series has always been steeped in history, inspired by real events, and Ubisoft is taking advantage of that angle to break the fourth wall and incite action.

Using consumer initiatives, Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III will work with Rock the Vote in an effort to entice young adults to make it out to the polls this election season. Rock the Vote has always been passionate about art, and Ubisoft is tying in with that direction in "Art of the Assassin," a traveling exhibit showcasing AC3-inspired art created by distinguished contemporary artists.

The tour will last until the end of October and closing ceremonies includes an auction giving fans a chance to bid of the exclusive works, with the proceeds going to Rock the Vote.

Tony Key, senior VP of sales and marketing for Ubisoft said, “There are several parallels between Assassin’s Creed III and Rock the Vote – from our common fan base to our shared platform of patriotism – but above all, this partnership is about giving young people a chance to be heard. Just as 18th century Americans stood together to fight for freedom and democracy, we’re inspired by Rock the Vote’s ability to unite and empower generations of young people and we’re honored to help the organization carry on the tradition.” 

Ubisoft is also participating in Rock the Vote's Road Trip, featuring musical performances and voter registration to a variety of colleges. They will be bringing an Assassin's Creed experience with the tour to give students and voters a chance to play the game before its launch on October 30th.
