For those aching for new games to play on their PlayStation Vita, Sony has just announced Sunflowers coming to the handheld later this year.
I admit, this might not be the game PS Vita fans were expecting when they bought the handheld, but there's a reason why casual games like these are the "big thing" right now, as they're quite easy to play and addictive, too! And it looks like Sunflowers might deliver on that end as well.
In Sunflowers, the player controls the Sun and you have the power to grow beautiful flowers on the ground. In order to do this, you need to "shoot" rays of sunlight through the passing clouds. Doing this, in turn, will then turn the sunlight into water that will cause the plant to grow. However, if a ray of sun touches a seed or flower, it will start to burn, so it's a lot more complicated than it sounds.
Give the trailer a look below.
There will be 330 flowers across the game's two levels, and you can participate in the game's six leaderboards to get the highest score among your friends.
Unfortunately, no official release date or price was given for Sunflowers. Only that it will be out this "autumn" in European territories. Keep an eye out on the PSN Store for when the title hits.
