Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia Tops Amazon Best-Seller List

August 21, 2012 by Jen Shaffer

Hardbound Zelda books… gets me everytime.

I may not always read books, but when I do, they are historical documentaries of fictitious gaming worlds. The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia will be published by Dark Horse and contains an in-depth look at the Zelda timeline, concept art from all of the games, Hyrule history and more.

Excitement for the Hyrule Historia has grown so large that it has officially taken over Amazon. The Zelda bible has topped the Amazon USA's best-sellers list, even though the title will not be released until next year. These numbers are based solely on pre-orders.

If Dark Horse wanted to include a section on Tingle, it would probably be a full chapter that really didn't explain much of anything, but was filled to the brim with uncomfortable concept art.

The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia is set to release on January 29th, 2013 and will retail for $35. Currently, Amazon has the book priced at $21 with their pre-order price guarantee.
