Valve’s Steam Awards, which were just announced last year for the very first time, allow Steam users to celebrate their favourite games of the year in an entirely unique way. In addition to providing eight official awards, Valve let players exercise some creativity in coming up with their own. Among the winners are Grand Theft Auto V, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Goat Simulator.

Last year, gamers also nominated Half-Life 2 and No Man’s Sky for the Steam Awards.
