Fans of Level-5 and Hayao Miyazaki alike will revel in the new Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Gamescom trailer that has just been released. The Sony exclusive has been teasing Wrath of the White Witch over the past year with impressive gameplay and cutscenes, but this trailer is really taking the cake.
After watching the full video, I feel like I've actually seen a trailer for a new Studio Ghibli project. The voice acting, animation, shading, design – absolutely everything – contributes to the overall project looking like a complete success.
I can't even handle the amount of whimsy in this trailer. The Ghibli and Level-5 team that worked on Wrath of the White Witch have created a world that feels canon with the rest of the Miyazaki films, and fans of both are understandably excited.
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will be released on January 22, 2013 for the PlayStation 3.
