The new Youtube App update 1.09 for the PlayStation 4 allows users to watch 360 videos with their VR headset.
To find 360 Videos on Youtube to test out the functionality, search #360 on Youtube and you’ll find a bunch of results, actually the most 360 video results anywhere else on the web (surprise, surprise). Unfortunately don’t psych yourself up too much as most 360 videos out there pale in comparison to the VR games and 1080p videos due to the large size of 360 clips.
Some users have reported that 3D 360 clips do in fact work, but are still sort of buggy – if you give Youtube sometime, I’m sure this will be sorted out in the future.
