Bethesda’s mobile sim Fallout Shelter has received a Christmas themed update including new quests, outfits and decorations, which will be available for a limited time.
The update will allow players to find special holiday attire in lunchboxes, including hats, snowflakes, red and green costumes and accessories, and Christmas lights. Lunchboxes are usually obtained through completing quests, objectives, collecting rewards from the daily report, or via in-game microtransactions.
Bethesda also revealed Fallout Shelter holiday stickers just a few days ago, which are compatible with iOS 10. The themed update follows the trend of revamping the game’s appearance for special events, which extends to Thanksgiving and Halloween. Fallout Shelter originally released last year, and quickly became a hit on the App Store, beating the likes of King’s Candy Crush Saga.
Fallout Shelter is free to play. It is available for mobile from the App Store and Google Play Store, as well as for PC.
