Nintendo has released an updated 3DS title lineup for the fall, but Luigi's Mansion is surprisingly absent. Luckily, 3DS owners will be kept busy with titles such as Skylanders, Professor Layton, Epic Mickey and Paper Mario, all of which are slated to launch just prior to the holiday shopping season.
Here's the current launch schedule:
– Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone! (Oct. 1)
– Crosswords Plus (Oct. 1)
– Sparkle Snapshots 3D (Oct. 18)
– Skylanders Giants from Activision Publishing, Inc. (Oct. 21)
– Style Savvy: Trendsetters (Oct. 22)
– Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask (Oct. 28)
– Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive! (Nov. 5)
– Paper Mario: Sticker Star (Nov. 11)
– Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion (Nov. 18)
With no information on Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, it's probable that Nintendo is going to delay the North American release until sometime in 2013. Fans of the GameCube sleeper hit have been waiting on the portable sequel since its announcement at E3 2011, and it seems like they'll be waiting just a little bit longer for satisfaction.
