Since Brotherhood, the multiplayer mode in the Assassin's Creed series has become an integral component to the game—almost as much as its single player counterpart.
Ubisoft recently released a trailer showcasing two of the multiplayer modes—Wolf Pack and Domination—in the upcoming Assassin's Creed 3, which integrates much of the action into an overarching narrative involving the Animus and its creators, Abstergo. The modes were confirmed for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
French website LiveWii took it upon themselves to ask Ubisoft whether the Wii U would offer the same modes and online content as the other consoles. Without missing a beat, the studio confirmed that the Wii U version would offer the same features.
If you're planning to pick up Assassin's Creed 3, you'll have to wait awhile longer as it's only slated for release sometime after the Wii U itself comes out.
