My Horse Prince: A Dating Sim That Lets You Date a Horse

“How many of you out there are tired of just dating normal human beings?” Asks YouTube user akidearest before diving into her playthrough of My Horse Prince, a game in which players form a romantic attachment to a horse.

Tired of slaving away at a major company, a young girl ventures off to the countryside in search of finding Mr.Right. She reasons that princes ride horses, so there must be a few potential suitors at one of the ranches. But what she finds instead is blue sky, fresh air, and a whole lot more than she bargained for.

Developer USAYA Co., who describes the game as one which “revolutionizes the bond between a girl and her horse”, is not the first to delve into such territory. The gameplay of My Horse Prince consists of tapping items for points, talking to boost your horse’s energy, and clearing levels to complete the story.
