The latest update for the PS4, update 4.07, is available for users today. However, there aren’t any bigger features this time around.
Unlike update 4.00 which brought a ton of new features like HDR support for the PS4 Pro and folders for managing games, 4.07 brings focus improvement to the PS4.
The one-line patch notes state: “This system software update improves the quality of the system performance.” Thankfully the update won’t takes you too long to download as it is only a 312.3 MB download.
Perhaps while waiting for the update to download, you could scroll on the PSN Store to see if there is any good sales. PlayStation is currently holding a four-week holiday sale which includes a bunch of heavy hitter games. You can check out the full list here.
