Last night Hideo Kojima came bearing the best gift of all, a new Death Stranding trailer. As usual, the trailer makes no sense at all, but Kojima urges fans (via Twitter) to keep watching it as it is filled with “hints” and “clues” of what’s to come.
If you managed to miss the trailer, check it out down below:
As you can see from the trailer, Kojima’s good friend Guillermo del Toro will be making his way into the game; alongside rumored Mads Mikkelsen. It seems like the two will be on opposing sides, but nonetheless be in the game. While the main character remains to be Walking Dead star, Norman Reedus.
There isn’t much we know about Death Stranding, however, Kojima and Geoff Keighley will be having a panel this weekend at PSX 2016; hopefully where we find out what the engine Kojima Productions chose and more details on the game. Earlier this year Kojima stated that players who like action-packed titles like The Division and Uncharted 4 will be interested in his latest title.
Death Stranding will be a PS4 exclusive, no release window announced as of now.
