After what seems a lifetime of waiting, The Last Guardian is only one week away from releasing. Fans who were interested in the title 8 years ago will most likely be interested in this $120 collector’s edition of the game.
PlayStation has uploaded a YouTube video of PlayStation’s social media manager Sid Shuman and PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida unboxing the pretty awesome collector’s edition.
As you can see from the video above, the collector’s edition comes packed with a bunch of goodies; including an art book that contains sketches & concept art for the game by the director himself Fumito Ueda, the game’s soundtrack, The Last Guardian steelbook case, and the highlight of the box — an amazingly-crafted statue of Trico and the boy.
The highly anticipated game took plenty of twists and turns during its development cycle, but it’s finally here; the game has gone gold and there is only one week left until its release. If you are itching for more on The Last Guardian, you can watch the first 9-minutes of the opening right here.
The Last Guardian is releasing next week on Dec. 6 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
