The Japanese PlayStation store has launched a free demo of PS4 exclusive title Yakuza 6 (Ryū ga Gotoku 6: Inochi no Uta). There is also a demo available on the Hong Kong PlayStation store, which has listed a pre-order price of HK$468 (approximately $60 USD).
The demo, which clocks in at 33.8GB, lets players try out the game until the middle of the first chapter. While it only offers limited access to character development and play spots, players who purchase the full game upon release will be able to transfer over their save data.
FamitsuTUBE, Famitsu’s YouTube channel has uploaded almost an hour’s worth of footage showcasing Yakuza 6’s gameplay and a pretty solid amount of storyline. It is split into 3 parts: 1, 2 and 3, all which come with Japanese audio.
A new feature being introduced in Yakuza 6 is the ‘Clan Creator’, which lets Kiryu rally together with his clan to take on team-based battles. Sega will be releasing paid DLC for the Clan Creator to celebrate Yakuza 6’s launch.
Yakuza 6 is expected to release on December 8 2016 for Japanese audiences. A Western release date has not yet been announced.
