This week is The Game Awards, and it wouldn’t be a show without a couple of world premieres. Host, Geoff Keighley, announced on Twitter that Prey will be bringing official gameplay to the show.
Earlier this year at E3 2016, we managed to see a couple of shots of what the game looks like, but we didn’t get the chance to see how the game actually plays.

Bethesda has announced that this game is a total reboot, meaning this is a new slate. New characters, different gameplay, and much more. What we do know is that our character’s name is Morgan Yu, which can be played as a male or female, and that the game takes place in an alternate universe.
Besides that and the couple of trailers we received, Prey has been pretty quiet. Hopefully, there will be more details on the game at the show.
Prey is expected to release in 2017, perhaps we will get an official date later this week.
