Last month Nintendo announced its new console-hybrid console, the Nintendo Switch, and to no one’s surprise it was received with an overwhelming amount of anticipation.
Nintendo has already confirmed that they won’t be sharing any more details on the console until early next year. However, we now know that Nintendo will be holding a private hands-on event on January 13 in New York City.
The private event is said to be five hours long, allowing Nintendo to inform both their investors and fans. During the live stream, which Nintendo is referring to as the “Tokyo webcast”, Nintendo will announce both the official price and release date of the Switch.
As of now, the Nintendo Switch is slated for March 2017 and little rumors of a $250 price tag. Fans will just have to wait a little longer to find out the exact details of the Switch.
