Sony has announced that its upcoming ensemble brawler — PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale — will have an open beta in the fall.
While the game is undergoing a closed beta now, SuperBot is now beginning to test the servers so they'll be ready when they unleash the beta publicly.
The upcoming beta will let players control Kratos, Sweet Tooth, PaRappa the Rapper, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, and Fat Princess. While the stages available will be: Dreamscape, Metropolis, Sandover Village, and Hades.
Currently, there is no specific date for the beta other than this "fall." However, Sony will be sending more closed beta invites as they gradually extend the program. So keep checking back on the official PlayStation Blog for more updates.
In addition to this, remember last week when we reported that massive PlayStation All-Stars characters and stages leak? Well, Sony has just acknowledged its existence as a fact and added, "the leaked content does not fully represent the final product nor the incredible efforts that were made to make these elements truly spectacular."
Speaking of reveals, Sony will announce the next character in the line-up officially at this year's Gamescom; which is happening later this month.
There you have it. You can try the game before you buy. So, anyone excited for this or is this still a Super Smash Bros. clone?
