Capcom’s Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, the newest addition to the Resident Evil series will come with a cross-save function. Players will be able to start playing on Xbox One and resume progress on PC, the latter of which will support resolutions of up to 4K.
Although Resident Evil 7 is not officially listed as part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, which means players who purchased a game can play it on both Xbox One and PC for no extra cost, the syncing feature is essentially quite similar.
GameStop recently revealed a gruesome collector’s edition for the game, which comes with a a Mansion Music Box that plays a sample of the Resident Evil 7 theme song, and a 4GB USB drive in the shape of a dummy finger, which is packaged in a VHS tape box. The collector’s edition will retail for $180 USD.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is expected to launch on January 24 2017. Supported platforms include Xbox One, PC and PS4.
