Pokemon Sun & Moon might be all the rage right now, but for fans of Digimon, the wait for Digimon World: Next Order is almost over.
It was announced at the Tokyo Game Show earlier this year that Digimon World: Next Order would be coming to the West. Although Japanese audiences got a PS Vita version back in March, Bandai Namco clarified that Western audiences will only be getting a PS4 release. According to Bandai Namco Europe’s Mathieu Van Kemenade, the game will be “an enhanced version, specifically designed for the PlayStation 4”.
Bandai Namco has recently updated the game’s Japanese website with new screenshots depicting ExE Evolution, as well as new digimon Darkdramon and Chaosmon. Like the Pokemon games, Digimon World: Next Order is an RPG with training and battling mechanics.
Digimon World: Next Order is scheduled to release on January 27 in Europe and January 31 in North America for PS4. The game will release in Japan on February 26 as the Digimon World: Next Order International Edition.
