Rocksteady is aware of a problem that's currently occurring to players who purchased Arkham Asylum in Steam’s most recent sale of the game. Due to a shortage of keys, these players have been unable to launch the game or verify their ownership of the title.
An error appears when players attempt to launch Arkham Asylum, which states that the code tied to their account is not registered on the Securom database. In addition to Steam, Securom is the digital rights management (DRM) software which Rocksteady uses to prevent copies of Arkham Asylum from being made.
Speaking for Rocksteady Studios, community manager Sarah Wellock states that the studio is aware of the problem and is doing all it can to fix it.
The studio will post an update as soon as it is fixed.
